The Center for Human Rights provides short term specialized training on human rights to government and civil society officers and mainstreamshuman rights training within Addis Ababa University.

The human rights teaching and training across departments in the AAU are delivered through basic short term training to undergraduate level students.CHR aims to replicate these experiences in other regional universities. The Center also organizes short term training courses on various human rights issues focused on the strategic thematic areas targeting high and mid-level government and civil society leaders and officials.
