With a PhD in Psychology, Dr. Kassahun Tilahun possesses an extensive theoretical and practical understanding of child and adolescent development and education, child rights, as well as gender equality and women's empowerment. Currently, he holds the position of assistant professor of Psychology and MA program Coordinator at the Centre for Human Rights, Addis Ababa University. Additionally, he is actively involved as a researcher at GAGE (Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence), AfriChild, and Quest RTC. Dr. Kassahun brings with him over 18 years of experience as a university professor, researcher, and consultant in both local and international NGOs. Throughout his academic and research journey, Dr. Kassahun has established himself as an efficient instructor and researcher and is recognised as an enthusiastic individual who is a pleasure to work with.
Christophe Van der Beken (PhD, Ghent University) is an Associate Professor at Addis Ababa University, College of Law and Governance Studies. His areas of expertise and research interests include public law, comparative constitutional law, federalism, human rights and minority rights, local government, and good governance. He has extensive teaching experience, educating and advising students on topics related to his areas of expertise. In this regard, he hasacted as promoter and examiner of various PhD thesesin Ethiopia and abroad.He has authored and edited many books, policy papers, and articles, several of which have been published in international peer-reviewed journals.
Anchinesh holds PhD in Human Rights, LLM in Human Rights and Democratization in Africa from University of Pretoria, South Africa and LL.B from the Faculty of law of Addis Ababa University. Sheis currently an Assistant Professor at the Center for Human Rights of Addis Ababa University. She has over fifteen years of experience in teaching, conducting research, providing capacity building trainings and implementing various projects for governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations. She has published research which involve policy and legal analysison academic journals.
